and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish the Engineer's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br />1.0.7 The Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer <br />will advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services and the <br />Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data <br />and information. If requested by the City, the Engineer will secure licenses or permits from <br />local, state, or Federal governmental entities on behalf of the City as an additional service. <br />1.0.8 Stephen M. Jenkins, Senior Project Manager, is the Engineer's Representative assigned to <br />this Study. The Engineer will not substitute another representative for this Study unless <br />approved in writing by the City in advance of such proposed substitution. In the event the City <br />and the Engineer cannot agree to the substitution of the Study Representative, the City may <br />terminate this agreement in accordance with Article 7. <br />1.1 TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.1.1 Study Start-Up, Project Participant and Public Meetings. Facilitate an initial start up <br />meeting with the Study participants to establish an overall project plan for the Study's execution. <br />The Engineer will direct its efforts toward analyzing the Study schedule to identify critical <br />decision points, data acquisition, key milestones where public involvement will be required, and <br />the means of engaging the public's involvement. <br />1.1.2 Study Advisory Committee. Establish the structure for gathering technical information <br />with the City's Study Advisory Committee. The Engineer will coordinate the collection of initial <br />information required for the Study. In addition, the Engineer will facilitate up to three meetings <br />with the City's Study Advisory Committee. The Engineer and the City anticipate that these <br />meetings may include an initial Study startup meeting, a meeting at approximately the 50% <br />completion point and a final meeting. <br />1.1.3 Public Involvement. Facilitate three public meetings as part of the Study. The public <br />meetings will be held at the commencement of the Study, at approximately the 50% completion <br />point in the Study, and within 60 calendar days from the submission of the draft final report to <br />the TWDB. The Engineer will incorporate comments received from TWDB, the public, and <br />study participants into the final report. The City will solicit input and comments from the <br />affected public on the draft report. <br />1.2 TASK 2 — DELINEATION OF SERVICE AREA AND ASSESSMENT OF NEED <br />The purpose of this task is to define the study area in terms of the specific sites where the <br />reuse water supply will be needed and distributed. In this task, the Engineer will also develop a <br />description of the key water resource management problems and needs in order to identify areas <br />in which reuse water may provide a viable solution.
