of Benny Rice and Carol Grimm as alternate members to the Comprehensive Plan Citizen <br />Advisory Committee. The motion carried unanimously. <br />18.Discuss and consider appointments to the Convention and Visitor Bureau Board, <br />Neighborhood Commission, and Zoning Board of Adiustments, and provide direction to <br />Staff. <br />Appointments made: <br />CVB Board: David Moody and Kevin Gilley <br />Neighborhood Commission: Rebecca Bigelow <br />Zoning Board of Adjustment: Gary Gooch and Robert Martin, lst alternate <br />19.Hold discussion regarding practices and ordinances governing parades in the City and <br />possible amendments thereto, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Warren Zerr led a discussion on the current parade ordinance. Council provided direction to <br />bring the item back with additional suggestions and information regarding the cost, commercial <br />vs. non commercial definitions, insurance, and funeral processions at a later time. <br />20.Ouestion and Answer Session with Press and Public <br />21.Adiournment <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Prather, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn to adjourn the <br />regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 9:34 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
