4. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public This is an opportunity for the Press <br />and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. <br />Sheran Self, 124 Elm Hill Court, asked if the Council had given consideration to increasing the <br />Arts Commission budget? <br />Mayor Guerrero stated that no immediate public discussion had occurred. <br />Sarah Underwood 424 Harper Dr, asked the Council to consider upgrading the Dog Park. She <br />specifically asked that the Council consider installing four elevated dog baths which would be a <br />$40,000 upgrade. <br />Mayor Guerrero directed Ms. Underwood to speak with Rodney Cobb, Executive Director of <br />Community Services regarding her request. <br />Sherwood Bishop, 124 Elm Hill Court, asked the Council if it would it be helpful to provide a <br />listing of where Arts funding has gone? <br />The Council asked staff to provide clarification. <br />5. Adiournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Porterfield and a second by Council <br />Member Prather, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn to <br />adjourn the budget workshop of the San Marcos City Council at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, <br />2012.
