The amendments to the City Charter in the Propositions Numbered 1, 2, 4, <br />and 6-16 having been approved by a majority of the votes cast in the election, these amendments <br />shall take effect from and after the effective date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The amendments to the City Charter in the Propositions Numbered 3 and 5 <br />failed to be approved by the majority of the votes cast in the election. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative <br />public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be presented at three <br />separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until ten (10) days after the date of final <br />passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon publication of notice of its <br />adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED.
