Special events consist of the following: Sights and Sounds of Christmas Library Book Sale Kite Festival River Cleanup - twice pet' year Texas Natural Festival Household Hazardous Waste Program 1.3.6 Neighborhood Cleanup Progrmn Container number, size 50 - Cardboard 30 gal trash boxes 20 - 90 gal trash carts 4 - 8 cubic yard I - 20 cubic yard I - 8 cubic yard I - 8 cubic yard I - 40 cubic yard 50 - Cardboard 30 gal trash boxes 3 - 8 cubic yard I - 40 cubic yard The Contractor will provide containers for each neighborhood cleanup scheduled by the City, at no cost to the City. The Contractor will deliver containers on a Friday and remove containers on the folIowing Saturday by 3:00 p.m., unless the Director informs the Contractor of a different schedule. There are approximately six neighborhood cleanups scheduled per fiscal year each utilizing 6-40 cubic yard contaiuers. 1.3.7 Downtowa Area A. The Contractor will provide, maintain and empty 32 public trash receptacles in the downtown area four times per week at no cost to the City. B. The collection schedule for the downtown containers will be coordinated with the City to correspond with heavy usage days. 1.3.8 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Pro,ram The Contractor will assist the City in couducting household hazardous waste collection programs through separate hazardous materials contractors engaged by the City, as follows: A Assist the City iu planaing and organizing each collection program. B. Answer questions from the public and media. C. Have a representative attead the site ou the day of each program. D. Provide one 40 yard roll-off container for each collection program for the disposal of non- hazardous materials collected during the event, at no cost to the City.
