Special events consist of the following: <br /> <br />Sights and Sounds of Christmas <br /> <br />Library Book Sale <br /> <br />Kite Festival <br /> <br />River Cleanup - twice pet' year <br /> <br />Texas Natural Festival <br /> <br /> Household Hazardous Waste Program <br />1.3.6 Neighborhood Cleanup Progrmn <br /> <br /> Container number, size <br /> <br />50 - Cardboard 30 gal trash boxes <br />20 - 90 gal trash carts <br />4 - 8 cubic yard <br />I - 20 cubic yard <br /> <br />I - 8 cubic yard <br />I - 8 cubic yard <br />I - 40 cubic yard <br /> <br />50 - Cardboard 30 gal trash boxes <br />3 - 8 cubic yard <br /> <br />I - 40 cubic yard <br /> <br />The Contractor will provide containers for each neighborhood cleanup scheduled by the City, at no cost to <br />the City. The Contractor will deliver containers on a Friday and remove containers on the folIowing <br />Saturday by 3:00 p.m., unless the Director informs the Contractor of a different schedule. There are <br />approximately six neighborhood cleanups scheduled per fiscal year each utilizing 6-40 cubic yard <br />contaiuers. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Downtowa Area <br /> <br /> A. The Contractor will provide, maintain and empty 32 public trash receptacles in the downtown <br />area four times per week at no cost to the City. <br /> <br /> B. The collection schedule for the downtown containers will be coordinated with the City to <br />correspond with heavy usage days. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Pro,ram <br /> <br />The Contractor will assist the City in couducting household hazardous waste collection programs through <br />separate hazardous materials contractors engaged by the City, as follows: <br /> <br />A Assist the City iu planaing and organizing each collection program. <br /> <br />B. Answer questions from the public and media. <br /> <br />C. Have a representative attead the site ou the day of each program. <br /> <br /> D. Provide one 40 yard roll-off container for each collection program for the disposal of non- <br />hazardous materials collected during the event, at no cost to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
