ARTICLE 12 <br />RESPONSE TIME <br />The parties acknowledge that City policy in Section 7.60 of the City Employee Handbook regarding a <br />timely response applies to all Firefighters who have taken the entrance examination and hired after <br />January 1, 2010, as a condition of employment upon completion of probation. The reasonable response <br />time for all such Firefighters regardless of assignment is established to be 40 minutes from their <br />permanent residence to the corporate City limit as of the date of this agreement. The parties agree that <br />this Article supersedes any conflicting provisions of Section 150.021 and Chapter 143 of the Texas Local <br />Government Code. <br />Page 23 <br />
