Ordinance 2012 -40, on the second of two readings, adopting a budget in the sum of <br />$_1.60,883,043 for the Fiscal Year beginning on October 1, 2012 and ending on September <br />30, 2013; authorizing certain adjustments to the budget with the approval of the Citv <br />Manager; approving Fiscal Year 2012 -2013 Capital Improvements Program Projects; <br />including procedural provisions, and providing an effective date <br />20. Ordinance 2012 -45, on the second of two readings, setting the Tax Rate for the 2012 <br />tax year at 53.02¢ on each $100 of taxable value of real and personal propertv that is not <br />exempt from taxation; levyin2 taxes for the use and support of the Municipal <br />Government of the City for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2012, and ending <br />September 30, 2013; providing a Sinking Fund for the retirement of the bonded debt of <br />the City, including procedural provisions; and providing an effective date <br />21. Resolution 2012 -116R, approving a Meet and Confer Agreement between the San <br />Marcos Professional Firefighters Association Local #3963 and the City of San Marcos, <br />and declaring an effective date. <br />22. Resolution 2012 -117R approving a Meet and Confer Agreement between the San <br />Marcos Police Officers' Association and the City of San Marcos and declaring an <br />effective date. <br />23. Adoption of the tax rate reflected in the proposed budget which will raise more <br />revenue from property taxes than in the previous fiscal year. <br />
