RESOLUTION 2012- 128R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO <br />THE CARRIER CORPORATION FOR HVAC UNIT REPLACEMENTS <br />AND WEB -BASED AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL UPGRADES IN <br />THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $840,457.67; THROUGH THE TEXAS <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASING COOPERATIVE BUYBOARD <br />HVAC EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES AND INSTALLATION OF HVAC <br />EQUIPMENT, CONTRACT #384 -11; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of a contract to the Carrier Corporation for HVAC unit <br />replacements and web -based air conditioning control upgrades in the total amount of <br />$840,457.67 through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard HVAC <br />Equipment, Supplies and Installation of HVAC Equipment, Contract #384 -11 is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate purchasing <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
