<br /> 37 <br /> RESOLUTION 1998- .94 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND JAVELINA CONSTRUCTION, <br /> INC. TO EXTEND THE ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> PAVEMENT GRINDING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On June 23, 1997 the City of San Marcos entered into a contract for the <br /> provision of pavement grinding (the "Contract") with Javelina Construction, Inc. <br /> 2. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional year. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br /> Javelina Construction, Inc. to extend the term of the Contract is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
