<br /> ATTACHIVIENT A <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES <br />1. Collect and assemble pertinent data on the existing water distribution <br /> system from the City and University. <br />2. Meet with City and University staff to identify critical issues associated <br /> with the project including City modeling requirements and billing <br /> parameters. Perform design evaluation of existing City water mains to <br /> be abandoned or re-routed. Identify new construction, as/where needed. <br /> Subconsultant tasks include: <br /> a. Subconsultant attends initial meetings with the City of San lvIarcos <br /> and University staff to define tasks, available data, final <br /> requirements of modeling and billing parameters. <br /> b. Accepts and receives data from Baker-Aicklen: <br /> c. Assists in developing existing flow to key points. <br />..., Identify alternative routes for new construction, i.e. for mains to be <br />.J. <br /> replaced, and the associated impacts as a result of abandonment of any <br /> water lines. <br />4. Provide recommendation on location for metered delivery of surface <br /> water to University. <br />5. Perfonn design evaluation of water service to the University satellite <br /> areas, including but not necessarily limited to: <br /> a. Bobcat Stadium <br /> b. Aquarena Springs complex and golf course <br /> c. Baseball and softball fields. <br />6. Provide recommendations for utility billing tracking of other water <br /> supplies treated at the City S\VTP and transported tp the University <br /> through the City's distribution system. Tasks include: <br /> a. Assist in detìning billing requirements for the City of San ÌvIarcos <br /> to the University. <br /> b. Identify problematic areas and procedures. <br /> c. Develop requirements needed for utility billing tracking to be <br /> included in The Request for Proposals for the new utility billing <br /> system. <br />7. Perform water system modeling of the proposed improvements to <br /> detennine pressure and flow of the City's system at the desired meter <br /> location(s) and other critical locations identified by the City. <br /> a. Initiate existing system model run utilizing Cybernet Haestad <br /> software. Refine model as required. <br /> b. Recalibrate model as necessary. <br />
