<br /> purchases using grant funds. In addition, grant recipients are encouraged to <br /> participate in the State Cooperative Purchasing Program. <br /> (11) Legislative and Lobbying Expenses. In accordance with state laws and <br /> regulations, funds provided under this Contract may not be used for expenses to <br /> support political activity, either directly or indirectly. As required under §33. <br /> Article IX ofH.B. 1, the standards set forth in §5, Article IX ofH.B. 1, shall apply <br /> to the use of funds provided under this Contract. <br /> (12) FoodlEntertainment Expenses. In accordance with the UGCMA, funds <br /> provided under this Contract may not be used for food or entertainment expenses, <br /> including refreshments at meetings and other functions. This provision does not <br /> apply to authorized employee per diem expenses for food costs incurred while on <br /> travel status. <br /> (13) Use of A1coholit Beverages. As required under §33, Article IX of H.B. 1, the <br /> standards set forth in § 11, Article IX of H.B. 1, shall apply to the use of funds <br /> under this Contract. In accordance \vith those standards, no funds provided under <br /> this Contract shall be used for the payment of salaries to any employee who uses <br /> alcoholic beverages on active duty.
