<br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-70R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE <br />OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, CRIME VICTIM <br />ASSISTANCE UNIT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos finds it in the best interest of citizens of San Marcos <br />that the San Marcos Police Department apply for a grant from the Office of the Attorney General to <br />fund the Victim Services Coordinator position for fiscal year 2008. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The City of San Marcos City Council approves submission of a grant application to the <br />Office of Attorney General for funding the Victim Services Coordinator for fiscal year 2008. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the grant application, and grant <br />agreement documents with the Office of the Attorney General on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3.
