'.'., ~. ~ a:::: e. <br />u~ ~ <Cta <br />g ---- ~:;Sj AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />-~ <;"\,1 t3~ MARCOS, TEXAS, INCREASING WATER RATES ESTABLISHED <br />ù:'t! ~õ UNDER SECTION 86.231 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE; <br />.,-;¡¡¡ ~ ESTABLISHING LIFELINE RATES FOR WATER AND <br />WASTEWATER SERVICES UNDER SECTIONS 86.231 AND 86.262 <br />OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE; AND INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The water rates established undesr Section 86.231 of the San Marcos <br />City Code are amended to read as shown on the Exhibit A whsich is attached to and made <br />a part of this ordinance for all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The wastewater (sewer) rates established under Section 86.262 ofthe <br />City Code are amended to read as shown on the Exhibit B which is attached to and made <br />a part of this ordinance for all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance <br />is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other <br />provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the <br />invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolution or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos <br />City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
