<br /> 109 <br /> RESOLUTION 1998- 186R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, DESIGNATING CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AS VOTING <br /> DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE CITY AT <br /> THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF <br /> CITIES TO BE HELD IN DECEMBER, 1998; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br /> TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS INCIDENT TO THE DESIGNATIONS, <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City of San Marcos, Texas, is a member of the National League of Cities. <br /> 2. The annual business meeting of the Congress of Cities is to be held in <br /> December, 1998 in Kansas City, Missouri. <br /> 3. The City of San Marcos, Texas, is entitled to cast one (1) vote at that <br /> meeting. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. EARL MOSELEY JR. is designated as the voting <br /> delegate for the City at the annual business meeting of the National League of Cities to be <br /> held in December, 1998. <br /> PART 2. JOE B. COX JR. is designated as the alternate <br /> voting delegate for the City at that meeting. <br /> PART 3. The Mayor, Billy G. Moore, is authorized to execute any documents <br /> incident to these designations. <br /> PART 4.
