Texas' share of these funds is $14,302,200. Your jurisdiction qualifies to receive $13,842 automatically under this initiative. An overall cash match of 10% or $1,538 is required making your total project budget $15,380. Governor Bush has.designated his Criminal Justice Division (CJD) as the agency to administer block grant funds. CJD "ill use a brief grant application by which units of local government will certify compliance with federal requirements. Funds may be used as needed for federal purposes listed in the attached summary. Federal management circulars will apply, including cost principles, provisions for audit, and rules for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements, Enclosed is a summary description of block grant requirements and application fonDs. Before completing the application fonDs, review the "Local Eligibility" section in the attached summary.
