A list of the COGs and a <br /> map of regions is attached. <br /> . Applications are requested by September 30, 1998. Applications will be awarded in the order in <br /> which they are received. Keep in mind that all funds must be expended during the grant period, <br /> therefore we encourage early submission. You may send your grant application to the Criminal <br /> Justice Division, Attn: Planning and Grant Administration, P.O. Box 12428, Austin, Texas 78711. <br /> Applications may be hand delivered to 1100 San Jacinto, Austin, Texas 78701. <br /> G. Awards Process <br /> . Upon review and approval of applications, funds will be awarded. Expenditures may begin on or <br /> after November 1, 1998. <br /> . Grant end date must be no later than July 31. 2000. <br /> H. Reportin! Requirements <br /> <br /> . Progress Reports. Reports wiil be due on November 30, 1998, Apri130, 1999, and semi-annually <br /> thereafter. Reports should describe the activities during the reporting period and the status of funding <br /> \vithin the prescribed purpose areas. The final report, at the end of the grant period, should cover the <br /> full 21 months of the grant. Progress reports may be in the form of a letter addressed to: Director of <br /> Justice Programs, Criminal Justice Division, P.O. Box 12428, Austin, Texas 78711. <br /> . Financial Reports. Financial reports will be due quarterly, beginning December 31, 1998. Standard <br /> CID financial report forms \vi!] be provided.
