<br /> 186 <br /> RESOLUTION 1998 - 207 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS AMENDING RESOLUTION 1998-125R WHICH APPROVED THE <br />ALLOCATION OF 1998 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDING AND RESOLUTION 1997-104R WHICH APPROVED THE <br />ALLOCATION OF 1997 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDING TO REALLOCATE FUNDS FROM PHASE III OF THE <br />DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK PROJECT TO THE FLOOD MITIGATION <br />PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On June 23, 1997 the City Council adopted Resolution 1997-104R which <br />approved the allocation of 1997 CDBG funding. <br />2. On June 22, 1998 the City Council adopted Resolution 1998- 125R which <br />approved the allocation of 1998 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. <br />3. The City Council wishes to reallocate CDBG funding for 1997 and 1998 in <br />order to provide funding for a flood mitigation project. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The amountofCDBG funding allocated for Phase III of the Downtown <br />Sidewalk Project for fiscal year 1997 is reduced from $39,350.00 to $0.00. <br />PART 2. The amount of CDBG funding allocated for Phase III of the Downtown <br />Sidewalk Project for fiscal year 1998 is reduced from $300,000.00 to $0.00. <br />PART 3. The reallocation of 1997 CDBG funding of $39,350.00 and 1998 <br />CDBG funding of $300,000.00 for the Flood Mitigation Project is approved. <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 9 day of NOVEMBER ,1998. <br /> D~ &. ~ <br /> Billy G.
