Section 2.041 of the San Marcos City Code is amended as follows <br />(underlining indicates added text; over5trike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />Sec. 2.041. Time of meetings. <br /> <br />Regular meetings of the city council are held at 7:00 1:36 p.m. on the <br />second and fourth Mondays of each month. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 2.043 of the San Marcos City Code is amended as follows <br />(underlining indicates added text; over5trike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />Sec. 2.043. Rules of procedure. <br /> <br />The city council will conduct its meetings by the rules of common courtesy <br />and 5imple parliamentary procedure approved bv the council by resolution. If a <br />parliamentary ruling is required, Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised edition, is <br />the accepted authority. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance <br />is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other <br />provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the <br />invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolution or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos <br />City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
