221 COUNTY OF HAYS COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL SERVICES CONTRACT STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS SECTION I. PARTIES TO CONTRACT This contract and agreement is made and entered into by and between the County of Hays, hereinafter referred to as :>unty" and San Marcos Public Library hereinafter referred to as "Contractor". The parties hereto have severally and collectively -- °eed and by execution hereof are bound to the mutual obligations and to the perfonnances and accomplishment of the tasks hereinafter described. Failure to comply with any item(s) of this contract can delay future quarterly payments until the item(s) of non- compliance is resolved. SECTION II. CONTRACTOR PERFORMANCE Provide tree library services to residents of Havs County. SECTION III. CONTRACT PERIOD The period for perfonnance of this contract shall commence October I, 1998 and shall tenninate September 30, 1999. SECTION IV. COUNTY OBLIGATION Notwithstanding any other provision of this contract, the total payment of all payments and other obligations made or incurred by the Count}: hereunder shall not exceed the sum 0[$55,360. SECTION V. REPORTS The Contractor shall submit to the Hays County Auditor on the following days during the contract period on the enclosed county-provided report fonn the fmanciaI status rendered by Contractor under this contract. February I, for the quarter ending December 31 May 1, for the quarter ending March 31 August 1, for the quarter ending June 30 November 1, for the quarter ending September 30 The County, at its option, reserves the right to have Contractor submit other infonnation and records pertinent to Contractor's perfonnances hereunder as may be reasonably required by County. SECTION VI. COUNTY MONITORING The Contractor shall pennit County to inspect and shall make available to the County for inspection any or all pertinent records, files, infonnation or other written material maintained by Contractor or any person or other entity with whom any portion of the perfonnance hereunder has been subcontracted. The Contractor shall pennit County tree access to all premises under its control or under the control of any person or entity with whom any portion of the perfonnance hereunder has been subcontracted.
