<br /> made a part hereof (hereinafter called the PROPERTY); and defined for all purposes as <br /> permanent easements and temporary easements, <br /> WHEREAS, the undersigned (hereinafter called "GRANTORS"), are the fee <br /> simple owners of the PROPERTY and have agreed to grant such easements to GBRA for <br /> the consideration and upon the terms and provisions hereinafter set forth. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That for and <br /> in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) cash in hand and <br /> other good and valuable consideration paid by GBRA to the GRANTORS, the receipt of <br /> which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, do hereby grant unto GBRA, and unto its <br /> successors and assigns, a perpetual easement for the purpose of constructing, <br /> maintaining, operating, repairing, rebuilding, relocating, replacing and removing said <br /> pipeline for the transportation of water from the Guadalupe River and its tributaries on, <br /> over and across the PROPERTY of the GRANTORS described in Exhibit "A" attached <br /> hereto, The right of way and permanent easement herein conveyed is described in <br /> Exhibit "A" attached hereto, except that during the period of construction of said <br /> pipeline, GBRA shall have the right to use an additional strip of land as a temporary <br /> construction easement and described in Exhibit "B". <br /> THERE IS EXPRESSLY RESERVED to the GRANTORS, their heirs and <br /> assigns, the right to use fully all of the PROPERTY covered hereby for any purpose not <br /> inconsistent with the rights granted to GBRA, its successors and assigns, which <br /> PIPELINE EASEMENT 4/98 Page 2 of 6 <br />
