<br /> 36 <br /> - <br /> RESOLUTION 1997- 2 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SALE OF A 0.917 ACRE <br /> TRACT OF PROPERTY AT THE INTERSECTION OF WONDER <br /> WORLD DRIVE AND THE IH-35 EAST ACCESS ROAD BY THE <br /> STATE OF TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> -- <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The Texas Department of Transportation (the State) has an interest in that certain 0.917 acre <br /> tract of land located on the southeast corner of Interstate Highway 35 North frontage road and <br /> F.M. Road 3407 (Wonder World Drive) more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A". <br /> 2. It has been determine by the State that this 0.917 acre tract described in Exhibit "A" is no <br /> longer needed for the use of citizens for road purposes. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The 0.917 acre tract described in the attached Exhibit "A" is no longer needed <br /> for the use of citizens for road purposes and that City approval is given of the State's proposed <br /> sale of the tract to the abutting property owners. <br /> PART 2.
