93. ORDINANCE 2003- 26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONiNG LOTS 1, 2, 3 AND 4A, CHAMPIONS BUSiNESS PARK, LOCATED IN THE 3300 BLOCK OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 NORTH, AS "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDiNG FOR PENALTIES. RECITALS: 1. On April 8, 2003, the Plmming and Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to establish the zoning as "C" Commercial District for Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4A, Champions Business Park, located in the 3300 Block of Interstate Highway 35 North. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission did, on April 8, 2003 consider and vote to approve the request, and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. 3. The City Cotmcil held a public hearing on the __ 2003, regarding the request 28ttrtay of May , 4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAiNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to establish the zoning for the following real property as "C" Commercial District: Street address: 3300 Block of Interstate Highway 35. Legal description: Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4A, Champions Business Park Subdivision. Deed or plat reference: Volume 4, Pages 198-200, Hays County Plat Records and repiat of Lot 4A as recorded in Volume 5, Page 14 of the Hays County Plat Records.
