I RESOLUTION 2007 - 77 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE ALLOCA TION OF 2007 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING; APPROVING A WAIVER OF DEVELOPMENT CODE RELATED FEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF SAN MARCOS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO THE CDBG PROGRAM AND ACTION PLAN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. The City has received notice from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") that entitlement funding has been approved under the Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") program for specific authorized programs for fiscal year 2007. 2. The City has solicited extensive citizen participation in determining the use of the CDBG entitlement funds. I BE IT RESOLVED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The following allocation of 2007 CDSG funding in the total amount of $532,495.00 is approved: CDBG Allocation Description Amount Southside Community Center Habitat for Humanity The Village of San Marcos Program Administration $ 85,000.00 $ 70,000.00 $ 283,460.00 $ 94,035.00 TOTAL: $ 532,495.00 PART 2. The City agrees to waive development code fees for the Village of San Marcos to include, but not be limited to, application fees for zoning and land use requests, watershed protection permit fees, platting process fees, site preparation permit fees, public improvement construction plan permit fees, floodplain permit fees and driveway access permit fees.
