67, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2003- 7~ R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND TEXAS ELECTRIC <br />COOPERATIVES, INC. TO EXTEND AN ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF WOOD DISTRIBUTION POLES FOR THE ELECTRIC <br />UTILITY DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. On May 14, 2001, the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract with Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. for the purchase of wood distribution <br />poles (IFB 21-043.1) for the Electric Utility Department (the "Contract"). <br /> <br />2. On May 20, 2002 the City extended this contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />3. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for a final year. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. to extend the term of the Contract is approved. <br /> <br /> PART 2.
