<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007- 90 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF AN <br />EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND JOHN P. <br />BURKE, JR. FOR THE POSITION OF MUNICPAL COURT JUDGE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On May 16, 2006, the City Council appointed John P. Burke, Jr. to the position of <br />Municipal Court Judge, and approved an employment agreement. <br /> <br />2. The employment agreement between the City and the Judge has a one year <br />term, renewable by action of the City Council. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The Employment Agreement between the City of San Marcos and John <br />P. Burke, Jr. for the position of Municipal Court Judge is hereby renewed for the year <br />beginning June 1, 2007, through May 31, 2008, with all the terms and conditions of that <br />Agreement remaining the same. <br /> <br />PART 2.
