<br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 102 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND TEXAS ST ATE <br />UNIVERSITY-SAN MARCOS FOR ITS PROVISION OF ARCHEOLOGICAL <br />SERVICES TO THE CITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />L On February 24, 2003 the City Council approved an interlocal agreement with <br />Texas State University-San Marcos ("TSU-SM"), formerly Southwest Texas State University, <br />for the provision of archeological services. <br /> <br />2. Pursuant to the Wonder World Drive Extension Pass-Through Toll Agreement <br />between the CIty and the Texas Department of Transportation, it is the City's responsibility to <br />conduct an archeological investigation along the project limits prior to the start of construction. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. The City wishes to amend the current interlocal agreement between the City and <br />TSU-SM for its provision of archeological services to include a scope of work specifically in <br />connection with the Wonder World Drive ExtensIOn Project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART L The attached Amendment No. I to the interlocal agreement for <br />archeological servIces between the City and TSU-SM is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the amendment <br />on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
