City agrees to maintain custody of the ballot boxes <br /> <br />containing the voted ballots after delivery by the School for a minimum period of sixty (60) days <br /> <br />following the date of the election at which time City will dispose of the voted ballots in the manner <br /> <br />prescribed by the Texas Election Code and will return those ballot boxes owned by School to the School <br /> <br />District office. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. <br /> <br />Joint returns of the elections will be provided by the Central Counting Station <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />to the Mayor, School Board President, City Secretary and School District Assistant Superintendent for <br /> <br />Business following the' tabulation. The Mayor of the City and the City Secretary will maintain custody of <br /> <br />the returns until the completion of the election canvass by the City Council, after which City will deliver <br /> <br />the original returns to the School District Office for the election canvass by the School Board of TruStees. <br />. <br /> <br />S<:hool agrees to return the original returns to the City after completion of the election canvass. City <br /> <br />agrees to maintain custody of the election returns upon delivery by the School for a minimum period of <br /> <br />sixty (60) days follo\'ting the date of the election. <br /> <br />City also agrees to funùsh School with the original records, upon request by the School, in the <br /> <br />event they are required for any court proceedings in which the School may be a party. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. <br /> <br />To facilitate the administratiort of the election, and as a convenience to the <br /> <br />voters, during the early voting period of Monday, Apri114, 1997 through Tuesday, April 29, 1997, City <br /> <br />agrees to designate the School District Office, 501 South LB.J. Drive, as Temporary Branch Early Voting <br /> <br />Place for the City and School agrees to designate City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins, Office, as Temporary Branch <br /> <br /> <br />Early Voting Place for the School. <br /> <br />City and School further agree to maintain Temporary Branch Absentee Polling Places for each <br /> <br />other in accordance with Section 85.062, Election Code, V.TC.A. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. <br /> <br />On Election day, all fonns used in the conduct of the election, including but not <br /> <br />limited to the poll list, signature roster, ballot registers, expense accounts, and all oaths and certificates <br /> <br />\'till be used jointly by the two agencies. All fonns will be returned to the City Secretary who shall keep <br />
