<br />47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1997-- <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND GILLAND LAWN SERVICE, TO <br />EXTEND THE TERM OF THE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On February 1, 1995 the City of San Marcos entered into a landscape <br />maintenance contract with Gilland Lawn Service. <br /> <br />2. On January 19, 1996 the original contract was extended for an additional <br />month and on February 12, 1996 the contract was extended for an additional 11 month <br />period. <br /> <br />3. <br />months. <br /> <br />Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional three <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ÐF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />Gilland Lawn Service to extend the term of the landscape maintenance contract for an <br />additional three months is approved. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D.
