CLEAN CITIES 2000 AGREEMENT <br /> <br />CLEAN CITIES 2000 is a voluntary program, and its aim is to stimulate voluntary environmental <br />compliance and voluntary environmental excellence. Agreeing to these CLEAN CITIES 2000 <br />terms does not place a city under new regulatory requirements or areas of enforcement. <br /> <br />It is not necessary to aclúeve the program's goals before completing tlús agreement. The plan of <br />i action provides you with the opportunity to report your plans to implement educatiònal programs <br />I and recycling and composting services that will meet the requirements of this program in the <br />- fUture. <br /> <br />Every CLEAN CITIES 2000 member must agree to some simple terms. If you have read and <br />agree to the following, please mark each blank with an "x." <br /> <br />xx City understands that continued membership in CLEAN CITIES 2000 is contingent on <br />substantial~implementation of the attached plan of action. <br />~ City understands that annual r~ports summarizing program results must be submitted to <br />the CLEAN CITIES 2000 program for yearly membership renewal. <br />~ City agrees to host, promote or participate in at least one event on November 15, Texas <br />Recycles Day. <br />~ City understands that CLEAN CITIES 2000 members strive for fUll compliance with <br />all regulations enforced by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission. <br />....:.xx.
