<br />I -. (Z'iff) <br />I <br /> Any and all items must be removed from the facility before leaving the premises. Any items left will be stored by the Parks <br /> and Recreation Department with a $25.00 fee being charged against the Lessee's deposit. Any item left over 45 days, <br /> becomes the property of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PROPERTY OF THE FACILIlY: Tables, chairs and certain other property are owned by the City of San Marcos and are <br /> available to Lessee upon payment of the necessary fees and completion of all paperwork. A copy of the room layout must <br /> be presented to the Parks and Recreation Department at least one week in advance of the activity. <br /> No equipment may be brought in by Lessee without permission of the Parks and Recreation Department. <br /> Decorating is the responsibility of the Lessee. Only free standing decorations are permitted in the meeting rooms. <br /> :orations may not be hung from the ceiling or attached to walls. Cost of repairs of damages resulting from decorating <br /> be borne by the Lessee. Nails, tacks, tape or other affixing devices are prohibited from use. <br /> Glass containers are allowed only within the confines of the meeting room. <br /> NONCONFORMING EVENTS: Events that have been scheduled due to untrue or misleading information provided by the <br /> Lessee shall be rejected or cancelled. Any such rejection or cancellation shall be at the sole discretion of the Parks and <br /> Recreation Department. <br /> ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Events which include the serving of alcoholic beverages shall be conducted under the laws of <br /> the State of Texas and rules and regulation of the TABC. Lessees are required to contact the TABC for information <br /> regarding such rules and regulations. <br /> Any event which includes the serving of alcoholic beverages requires a T ABC license and such license shall be filed with <br /> the Parks and Recreation at least 72 hours prior to the event. <br /> SECURIlY:Any event with 200 or more people or any event where alcohol is served and/or consumed, the Lessee shall <br /> employ uniformed certified peace officers to be present 30 (thirty) minutes prior to the beginning of the event, during the <br /> entire event and up to 30 (thirty) minutes after the event. Any waiver of this requirement is at the discretion of the Parks <br /> and Recreation Department. <br /> The number of certified peace officers to be employed by the Lessee shall be governed by the following table: <br /> . )0 persons -2 officers. <br /> ,ne) additional certified peace officer per each additional 100 persons <br /> In the event that more persons attend the event than anticipated or become disorderly the officers have the option to call in <br /> additional certified peace officers at the Lessee's expense. The lessee will be responsible for hiring the required number of <br /> certified peace officers and furnishing a copy of the agreement and a contact persons name and phone number for the <br /> officers to the Parks and Recreation Department 72 hours before the event. At the discretion of the Parks and Recreation <br /> Department, additional security may be required depending upon the nature of the event. <br />
