145. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2003- 93 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CITY ENTERING INTO AN <br />ADVANCE FUNDINGAGREEMENTWITHTHE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION ("TxDOT") FOR FUNDING OF THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF SIDEWALKS UNDER THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROGRAM; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City wishes to wishes to enter into an Advance Funding Agreement (the <br />"Agreement") with TxDOT for funding of the construction of sidewalks under the Safe <br />Routes to School Program. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The attached Advanced Funding Agreement between the City and <br />TxDOT for funding sidewalk construction under the Safe Routes to School Program is <br />approved and the City is authorized to enter into the Agreement. <br /> <br /> PART 2.
