<br /> - <br /> JoJA- <br /> or no account. <br />(c) The amount of the deposit for electric, water and/or sewer service is <br />established by the city council. <br />(d) Deposits are nontransferable. <br />(e) Deposits will be refunded as follows: <br /> (1) The excess of a customer's deposit over any unpaid electric, <br /> water and/or sewer bills will be refunded within 60 days of <br /> termination of service. <br /> (2) A deposit will be refunded as a credit to the customer's <br /> account, or returned to the customer if a letter of credit, if the <br /> account has had no late payments during the last 12 <br /> consecutive months. <br />(f) The City will keep records of customer deposits that provide: <br /> (1) the name and address of each depositor; and <br /> (2) the amount of the deposit and the date the' deposit was made <br /> by the customer. <br /> The City will issue a receipt of deposit to each applicant from which <br /> a deposit is received, and will provide means for a depositor to <br /> establish a claim if the receipt is lost. A record of each unclaimed <br /> deposit will be maintained by the City for a period of four (4) years. <br />SECTION 2. (a) The amount of the deposit for water and/or sewer service is as <br />follows: <br />(1) Individually metered residential unit. . . . . . .. $60.00 <br />(2) Allotheruses......................... 1/6 of either the <br /> estimated annual <br /> billings to that <br /> service location or <br /> an estimated annual <br /> billing to other <br /> similar accounts of <br /> the City. <br />(b) The amount of the deposit for residential electric customers is the greater of: <br />(1) $50.00; or <br />(2) an amount equal to one sixth (1/6) of either the estimated annual <br /> billings to that service location or an estimated annual billing to other <br /> similar residential accounts of the City. <br /> : <br />(c) The amount of the deposit for electric customers other than residential <br />customers will be set based on any or all of the following: <br />(1) the square footage of the customer's premises; <br />(2) previous levels of consumption and billings at the customer's location; <br />(3) the type of business to be operated by the customer; <br />
