TO 9.30 AM. AND 4.30 P.M. TO 6.30 P.M. FOR BOTH SIDES OF <br />\"'. --:> ~!; THE 100 AND 200 BLOCKS OF BARNES DRIVE AND THE 100 BLOCK OF <br />CHISOS STREET; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 82.160 of the San Marcos City Code, the <br />traffic register maintained under Section 82.067 of the Code is amended by adding the <br />following parking restrictions: <br /> <br />NO PARKING, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. <br />to 6:30 p.m., on both sides of the 100 and 200 blocks of Barnes Drive. <br /> <br />NO PARKING, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. <br />to 6:30 p.m., on both sides of the 100 block of Chisos Street. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this <br />ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the <br />other provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without <br />the invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 82.159 of the San Marcos <br />City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance takes effect ten (10) days after the date of its final <br />passage, and the City Secretary will publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading July 14, 1997. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading July 28, 1997. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED August 11, 1997. <br /> <br />()~~~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
