<br /> 31 <br /> RESOLUTION 1997- 129 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE HEB <br />TENNIS COURTS AND DUNBAR PARK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO <br />PEABODY GENERAL CONTRACTORS, INC.; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract for the HEB Tennis Courts and <br />Dunbar Park Improvements Project to Peabody General Contractors, Inc. to Peabody <br />General Contractors, Inc. of Dripping Springs, Texas in the amount of $55,303.00 is <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
