227. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2003- ll~ R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A RENEWAL <br />LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND WELLS FARGO BANK <br />TEXAS, N.A. TO RENEW A CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF BANK <br />DEPOSITORYSERVlCES; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. On March 27, 2000, the City approved a contract (the "Contract") with <br />Norwest Bank Texas, N.A. for the provision of bank depository services. <br /> <br /> 2. On or about April 14, 2000 Norwest Bank Texas, N.A. became Wells Fargo <br />Bank Texas, N.A. <br /> <br />3. Both parties agree to a renewal of the Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The renewal letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />Wells Fargo Bank Texas, N.A. formerly Norwest Bank Texas, N.A. to renew the term of <br />the Contract is approved. <br /> <br /> PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to <br />execute the letter agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br /> PART 3.
