'- <br />. g ~ E§~ <br />IJJ ü to e;:: ¡;;: <br />~ (.;Ie;:; <br />U~ 0 Lúv? <br />(1)- ORDINANCE NO. 1997 -64 <br />--' t3 ~o <br />lL,1 a - Þ <br />ë Q;;) ¡;;;¡ <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br /> ORDINANCE FOR THE 1997-98 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE <br /> FUNDING FOR THE POOL RENOVATION AND ADA <br /> RENOVATIONS PROJECTS AND DECLARING AN <br /> EMERGENCY. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1997-98 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1997-98 Fiscal Year is amended <br />as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the Pool Revonation <br />and ADA Renovations Projects. <br /> SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1997-98, are approved and <br />adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br />presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 1 0 days <br />after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br />publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of October ,1997. <br /> <br /> ßJlg~, ~ <br /> Billy G.
