Regular Meeting June 23, 2003 Page 10 to the Convention and Visitors Bureau meeting last week and Ms. Narvaiz was appointed Vice Chairman. 3) Ms. Narvaiz stated at the CVB meeting last week an update was given on the Great Texas Trails projects and their continuing investigation of the project benefits. She also stated CVB would be bringing a recommendation to the Council for changes to their board representation. 4) Mr. Mihalkanin stated he was contacted by a Ms. Sharpe regarding the odor problem on River Road. He stated he would like to discuss the Wastewater Treatment Plant on River Road at the next Regular Council Meeting on July 23, 2003. He would like to discuss the odor problems, engineering and legal issues. 5) Mr. Montoya stated he was also contacted by several citizens regarding the odor problems on River Road and would also like to have this agendized. 6) Mayor Habingreither stated he presented a research paper to the Clean Air Force in Austin last week. He stated this paper was regarding the reduction of ozone. He also stated he has a copy of the paper if anyone was interested in reading it. Mayor Habingreither introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the employment of public employees (2003-04 Budget/Personnel). Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 10:46 p.m. and Mr. Montoya seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council reconvene at 11:05 p.m. and Ms. Narvaiz seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
