189. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2003 - 1105 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE U.S. <br />COMMUNITIES GOVERNMENT PURCHASING ALLIANCE; APPROVING <br />THE ATTACHED MASTER INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE <br />PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />AND THE PURCHASING MANAGER OF THE CITY TO ACT IN ALL <br />MATTERS RELATED TO THIS PROGRAM AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City is authorized to purchase goods and services from the U.S. <br />Communities Governmental Purchasing Alliance ("U.S. Communities") pursuant to <br />Chapter 791 , Intergovernmental Relations, of the Local Government Code. <br /> <br /> 2. The City wishes to participate in the U.S. Communities government <br />purchasing alliance. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The City's participation in the U.S. Communities Government' <br />Purchasing Program is authorized, <br /> <br /> PART 2. The attached Master Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing <br />Agreement between the City and U.S. Communities is approved. <br /> <br /> PART 3.
