<br />, . %Æ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.2 BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />The ENGINEER will perform all of the services described in Attachment A of this <br />Agreement, which include normal structural, mechanical, civil and electrical engineering <br />services, as well as architectural services, as Basic Services under this Agreement. A <br />complete description of the ENGINEER's Basic Services for Tasks 1-5 is included in <br />Attachment A of this Agreement. Upon completion of Task 2, the ENGINEER and the <br />CITY will negotiate a final scope of Basic Services and a fee for the completion of Tasks <br />/?- 6-8, and will incorporate those services and fee into this Agreement by written amendment <br /> <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />1.3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.3.1 Any work requested by CITY of the ENGINEER that is not described in Attachment <br />A of this Agreem.ent will be classified as additional services. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Additional services will include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />(a) Additional meetings with local, State, or Federal agencies to discuss <br />the Project. <br /> <br /> <br />, <br />(b) Additional appearances at public hearings or before special boards. <br /> <br />(c) Additional engineering work required to meet the requirements of <br />regulatory or funding agencies that become effective subsequent to <br />the date of this agreement. <br /> <br />(d) Special consultants or independent professional associates requested <br />- or authorized by the CITY. <br /> <br />I, (e) Assistance with bid protests and rebidding, <br /> <br />(f) Preparation for litigation, arbitration, or other legal or administrative <br />proceedings; and appearances in court or at arbitration sessions in <br />connection with bid protests, change orders, or construction incidents. <br /> <br />(g) Additions to an engineering report to update or revise original <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />(h) Extensive, non-routine reVISion of design, drawings, and <br />specifications to incorporate changes arising from value engineering <br />review. <br /> <br />(I) An environmental assessment as requested by CITY or required by <br />review agencies. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-'- " . . <br />
