~7f+ Sec. 102.028. Revisions to Future land Use Plan. (a) The Future land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons is subject to revision as follows: (1) The approval of an ordinance amending the official city zoning map acts as a revision to the Future land Use Plan to conform to the zoning amendment. (2) The approval of a subdivision plat of property in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction by the planning and zoning commission after a public hearing acts as a revision to the Future land Use Plan to conform to the land uses identified for the subdivision. (3) The city council may revise the Future land Use Plan by adopting a resolution, after conducting a public hearing and receiving the recommendation of the planning and zoning commission on the revision. (b) The director of planning and development services is authorized to , make interpretations of the exact boundaries of land use areas on the Future land Use Plan. SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been adopted. SECTION 3. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 1-5 of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. SECTION 6. That this Ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
