gq{) RESOLUTION REQUESTING FINA1'fCL-\L ASSISTÀJ.'fCE FROM THE TE-XA.S WATER DEVELOPME~l BOARD; AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE; DESIGNATING ÀJ.'f 0 FFI CL -\L REPRESENTATIVE; .-\l'il) CO~lAINING ~L-\TTERS RELATED THERETO WHEREAS, the City of San i\farcos, Texas (the "City") proposes to construct additions and improvements to its sanitary sevc,'er system (the "Project") and to issue obligations to finance a portion of the cost of the Project; and WHEREAS, this City Council has detennined that the City cannot reasonably finance the Project \\ithout assistance from the Texas \Vater Development Board; Now, Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN iYLA.RCOS: Section 1. The statements contained in the preamble of tills Resolution are true and COITect and are adopted as fmdings of fact. Section 2. By this Resolution, the City requests financial assistance from the Texas Water Development Board out of the Sbte Water Pollution Control RevolYmg Fund to finance the costs of the Project and authorizes the submission of an application for fmancial assistance to the Texas \Vater Development Board. Section 3. The President of the City is hereby designated as the City's authorized representative for the purposes of providing such information and executing such documents as may be necessary or appropriate in connection \"ith the preparation, tìling and prosecution of such application for fmancial assistance. '. , Section 4.
