<br /> 15 <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- 43 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO A GRANT <br /> AGREEMENT FOR AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 3-48-0195- <br /> 12-94 BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION <br /> ADMINISTRATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> THIS AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />- EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />¡ <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On June 27, 1994 the City entered into a contract with the Federal Aviation <br /> Administration (FAA) for a grant to make certain improvements to the San Marcos <br /> Municipal Airport (ALP. No. 3-48-0195-12-94). <br /> . . <br /> 2. On September 26, 1994 the City entered into an amended contract with the <br /> FAA for ALP. No. 3-48-0195-12-94 which omitted the funding for access road <br /> improvements. <br /> 3. The FAA has notified the City that grant funding for engineering costs <br /> associated with the access road improvements has been reinstated. . <br /> .. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the attached Amendment No.1 to the grant contract for ALP. <br /> No. 3-48-0195-12-94 between the City and the FAA is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris, is authorized to execute the <br /> Amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
