VE~~ENDI SüRVEY NO.2, CITY OF_SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT 22.26 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED IN A DEED FROM KENNETH V. KRAUS, TRUSTEE TO EDMUND LONGCOPE DATED JULY IS, 1981 AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 361, PAGE 166 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOHS: I , I . BEGINNING at 1/2" iron rod found for the northerly west corner of the Longcope tract being at the intersection of a cut back corner of State Highway No. 80 and River Road; THENCE with the common northwest line of the Longcope tract and the southeast line of River Road, N 45° 00' 00" E 881.11 feet to a 1/2" iròn rod set at the north corner of the herein described tract, pass at 418.88 feet a 1/2" iron rod set, from which a 1/2" iron rod found for the north corner of the Longcope tract bears N 45° 00 I 00" E 285.77 feet; THENCE entering the Longcope tract, S 45° 00' 00" E 211.61 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set for the northerly east corner of the herein described tract; ~ THENCE S 44' 55' 50" W 462.23 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set for an interior corner of the herein described tract; T"rlENCE S 45: 00' 00" E 247.01 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set for the southerly east corner of the herein described tract; THENCE S 44' 42' 18" H 378.26 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set in the cow~on northeast line of State Highway No. 80 and southwest line of the Longcope tract for the south corner of the herein described - tract; ) THENCE with said common line, the following two courses: 1. N 61' 59' 00" H 382.32 feet to a Texas Highway Department monument, and 2. N 08: 21' 00" W 119.01 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. There are contained within these metes and bounds 6.88 acres, more or less, of land area as prepared from public records and a survey ~ade on the ground during December, 1995 by Byrn & Associates, Inc. of San Harcos, Texas.
