<br />35 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1996- .1 7 R <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, REJECTING THE BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A <br />-- HI-PRESSURE AIRLESS SPRAY PAVEMENT MARKING MACHINE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On December 21, 1995 the City opened bids for the purchase of a hi- <br />pressure airless spray pavement marking machine. <br /> <br />2. . The City received two bids in response to the invitation to bid and they were <br />both determined to be in excess of the approved budget for the purchase. <br /> <br />3. Both bids expired on February 21, 1996. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: ~ <br /> <br />PART 1. That the bids from Pathmark Traffic Products of San Marcos, Texas <br />and Trantex Transportation Products of Texas, Inc. of Houston, Texas which were received <br />in response to an invitation for bids for the purchase of a hi-pressure airless spray <br />pavement marking machine as specified in IFB-96-021 are rejected. <br /> <br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from <br />and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the25th:fay of March1996. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Kathy M.
