<br /> 36 <br /> - <br /> RESOLUTION 1996- 48 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, REJECTING THE BIDS FOR THE AIRPORT ROAD <br /> IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PHASE II; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On September 26, 1994 the City opened bids for the Airport Road <br /> Improvements Project - Phase II. <br /> 2. Hunter Industries was the low bid and was recommended for award by <br /> Charles Willis & Associates. <br /> 3. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) did not have FY-95 funds <br /> available at the time of the bid opening and Hunter Industries agreed to extend its bid until <br /> funds were approved for FY95. <br /> . <br /> 4. The City did not receive funding for this project in the FY-95 FAA budget. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That all bids received in response to an invitation for bids for the <br /> completion of the Airport Road Improvements Project - Phase II as specified in IFB-94-047 <br /> are rejected. <br /> PART 2.
