The scope of services and budget are
based on the Black & Veatch requests contained in a document entitled "Attachment A to
Professional Services" that was faxed to us on March 4, 1996. Since that time, I have had extensive
discussions with representatives of Black & Veatch concerning significant alterations and deletions
to their requests. The scope of work outlined in this proposal reflects the agreed upon scope and
method of work. In brief, the project is to consist of ten (10) new structures at the existing San
Marcos WWTP. Five (5) structures will be located about 8' to 2.1' below existing grade while the
remaining five (5) structures will be located at or near existing grade. As requested, subsurface
exploration \ViII consist of eleven (11) core borings advanced to depths ranging from 25' to 45' below
existing grade.
