'-'.. c..:: ~ <br />; C'. - l.o-.~. <br />ç , O' c/) "5 <br />i~~~' ~ Ë ~ ORDINANCE NO. 4996 ~ <br />, "' --- u~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE <br />1995-96 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE BLANCO <br />STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is amended <br />as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. in order to provide funding for the Blanco Street <br />Drainage Improvements Project. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are approved and <br />adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br />presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 10 days <br />after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br />publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of April, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />M~ <br /> <br />Kathy M.
