';5 <br />tJ.;~J Ü-. .c::~ ORDINANCE NO. 1-996 ---31l.. <br /> .::;¡; <br />~ ~ ~~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE <br /> 1995-96 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE WILLOW <br /> CREEK INTERCEPTOR PROJECT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1, In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is amended <br /> as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the Willow Creek <br /> Interceptor Project. <br /> SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are approved and <br /> adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br /> imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br /> presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 1 0 days <br /> after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br /> publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of April ,1996. <br /> ~~~.~ <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> c1 a¥- t}I~ <br /> Janis K.
