In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> : <br /> I Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is <br /> amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the <br /> Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project. <br /> SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which snail be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are approved and <br /> adopted. <br /> SECTION 3, The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br /> imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br /> presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 1 0 days <br /> after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br /> publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2 2ndday of April ,1996 <br /> ~i~'~ <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> ~~~ W~ <br /> Janis K.
