<br />98 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1996 - 69 R <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS RATIFYING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A GRANT FOR <br />FUNDS TO DEVELOP A NATURE TRAIL SYSTEM AND EDUCATIONAL <br />PROGRAM ON THE SAN MARCOS RIVER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO ACT IN ALL MATTERS REGARDING THIS TEXAS PARKS <br />AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT GRANT PROGRAM AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos has submitted an application for a grant to the Texas <br />Parks and Wildlife Department for funds to develop a nature trail system and educational <br />program on the San Marcos River. <br />. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The submission of the attached application to the Texas Parks and <br />Wildlife Department for funds to develop a nature trail system and educational program on <br />the San Marcos River is ratified. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to act in all <br />matters with regard to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department grant program on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
